* everyone in our congregations, their families and friends that they remain faithful to the Lord. Pray that we will continue to support those who are lonely, vulnerable and isolated at this time.
 
CAIRNLEA 2020 GroupKeep us focussed on the Lord’s vision for the Cairnlea Centre that the Lord will make clear His mission plan for funding and design of the new centre.  Give grateful thanks for the new opportunity to request funding for our project. Ask for guidance to enable the production of an acceptable set of community outcomes to align with the Scottish Government’s criteria. Pray for our roof repair grant funding applications.
 
* all those who are dealing with bereavement at this time, ask that they will know the comfort of our Lord during these difficult times for them. 
 
* those who are ill at home or in hospital, those facing surgery and anyone who is recovering at home or those suffering any difficulty within our congregation’s families. 
 
* remember all medical staff (in all disciplines and levels), carers and essential services throughout our land, pray for their safety,  and energy to cope with the stress as they work tirelessly caring for people. . 
 
* pray for all Leaders and teachers in our Schools, Colleges and Universities and for all the children, pupils and young folk who rely upon the leaders for their learning.      
 
* pray that there might be a sharing of Christian hope in these days; and that online or in telephone conversations, we might encourage one another in faith.   
 
* ask that our GB & BB Captains, Officers, and young people will be blessed by the Lord. Help us to nurture all of our youth groups so that the Lord will touch the hearts of many young teens in our community encouraging them to come forward to take part in the activities whilst learning more of Jesus. Be with them during the summer months keeping them safe and ever growing in their faith.  
 
* Catherine, her Mum and her family, be with her as she travels in Spain and give her wisdom to portray a Christ-like approach to everyone she meets. Ask for help in her studies and for God’s continued guidance in her ministry development work.
 
* Martin and Stephanie in their Bible translation work. Give them strength for the work of producing the Word of God in new languages to people who have not previously been able to read the Bible in their own language. .     
 
* pray for those bereaved and injured in the wars and natural disasters in our world,  may the recovery agencies be kept safe as they work in the clear up. Remember before God the Father the wars in Sudan, Ukraine, Gaza and Syria pray that peace, calm and safety is restored and some normal living may be possible. Ask for God’s leading and guiding during the peace talks, and that all conflicts around the world will end.   

*  the provision of food and medicines for the millions who are starving and homeless in Yemen. Somalia, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Afghanistan. 

* Dr Callum Henderson of Comfort International, and his work with the children and women needing aid and support in DR Congo. Pray for the dangerous situation Comfort International’s people find themselves in with the rebels, pray for safety and a sustained peace.

* those who are grieving the loss of their families and friends involved in the Air India airliner crash this week.      

* King Charles and the other members of our Royal family, ask the Lord to guide and protect them.

* the work of all the people at Blythswood Care for the Lord’s support for their projects both at home and overseas. 

*  Ask that God will guide our Prime Minister and the First Ministers, MPs and MSPs in both Parliaments, that they may govern the country with honesty and integrity to deliver a more caring and equal society. Ask that calm and peace can be realised with the leaders of the US,  Ukraine and Russia to ensure stability in the world. Pray that nations will work together to make better and more equal societies in all countries. 

 Pray the Lord will continue to guide Ministers as they help churches work through the reshaping of parishes throughout Scotland. Pray for unity among members of the church throughout Scotland. 

* Jacob Ingleson our GYC leader, and for the teenage YOUTH DROP-IN cafe on Fridays, give thanks for all those who will support this work. Give grateful thanks for our members who give to the ‘Growing Young – Cairnlea vision’.
